Anne was born in Resolute Bay a few years later. <\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote >\n<p class=\"qp\">\n<p>[&#8230;] we grew up with alcohol up in Resolute Bay. We didn\u2019t mind it in the summertime, because you know in the summertime, it\u2019s not cold. We can go run away until they fall asleep and then we can go home. But when the winter hit, we had nowhere to run.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy cousins, we would always get together, visit each other, like we would have to feed ourselves, we would be like seven years old. I\u2019m not sure exactly how we survived, but we did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHealing is very important in Inuit culture.
